This notification is being sent as a follow-up to the bulletin sent out on June 28 regarding a potential work stoppage by Canada Post workers.

As you may be aware Scotiabank’s Advisor Deposit Services has been holding all mail not being delivered through ICS since June 29 to avoid potential delivery delays resulting from a work stoppage.

Canada Post has lifted the threat of lockout of its workers today as contract negotiations continue. As a result, Scotiabank’s Advisor Deposit Services will be mailing out all cheques held to date and all cheques going forward until further notice.

We continue to monitor the potential strike situation via our Canada Post representative, and will provide updates as they are made available. Updated information can be found at ads.scotiabank.com.
